Aaron Wayne Parker Jr., was born in Nashville, TN to the late Shyrl Leona Waters and the late Aaron Wayne Parker, Sr. Wayne was also preceded in death by his Beloved Grandmother Elizabeth Hardin and his sister Tracy.
Wayne was a product of Metro Nashville Public Schools. He graduated from Maplewood High School in 1989. Wayne had a thirst for learning new things and expanding his knowledge. It was a long-time desired goal of his to earn his bachelor’s degree. He worked hard, did the work, and earned his Bachelor of Ministry degree from Emmanuel Baptist College in 2023.
At an early age, Wayne professed hope in Christ and was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church off of Sulphur Creek Road near Ashland City. Wayne received his calling and was ordained as a pastor at the same church he grew up in. Wayne was a true servant man of God and had been serving as a faithful member at New Life the Purpose Church.
Wayne was known for his quiet nature to others but to his close family and friends he was known as the always budding chef that created health-conscious meals for diabetics; baking was his specialty. His love for music; a good book to read; talking about one of his favorite TV series; or hanging out at family gatherings enjoying the conversation and activities going on around him.
Wayne was a loving Brother, Father, Uncle, and Great Uncle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother Brian D. Parker, Sr. (Xochitl), his sister Kristin C. Bender, and his sister/cousin Dawn M. Crawford-Pirtle. His nieces: Arionna Parker, Makayla Bender, Abibi Crawford, and Jurnee Pirtle. His nephews: Monte Gonzales, Brian Parker, Jr., Makell Bender, Sr., and Alexander Pirtle. Great nieces and nephews: Kylee, Kayden, Nori, K.J., Minah, Ava, Alivia, Kensley, Karmyn, Makell Jr., Kelsey, and Kelleigh. A host of family and friends.
