Albert Lewis McKinnon

Deacon Albert McKinnon was born August 23, 1942, in Pulaski, Tennessee to Jeffery and Daisy McKinnon. He fell asleep peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Albert was educated in the Giles County public schools and was a graduate of Bridgeforth High School. He was employed for many years by Metro Water Company where he was blessed to retire.

In his spare time Albert enjoyed landscaping and fishing.

Albert accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a committed member of Gospel United Missionary Church where he was an esteemed servant on the Deacon Board.

Albert was a family man. He loved his family immensely.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery and Daisy McKinnon, brothers, James McKinnon and Thomas Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving wife, Carolyn McKinnon and his forever cherished loving sister, Dorothy Bracey, daughter, Tonya McKinnon, sons, Jayson McKinnon, Bobby McKinnon and Ashly McKinnon, daughter, Shandrita, devoted niece, Theresa McKinnon-Jordan (Alex), devoted nephew, William Stevenson as well as a hos of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Albert will be missed greatly.
