Andrea Demetric Kimbrough, a cherished soul, left this world on June 27, 2025, at the age of 47. He was born on May 29, 1978, in Nashville, Tennessee, where he spent his formative years creating a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Andrea was known by all who met him for his infectious smile and his ability to light up a room. He was a funny, friendly, and kind-hearted individual whose warmth attracted friends from all walks of life.

Andrea dedicated himself to bettering his education, completing his GED, a reflection of his commitment to personal growth and self-improvement. He had a passionate love for sports and spending time discussing various games with his friends and family, often found indulging in light-hearted wagers that brought him joy and excitement. His hobbies included fixing up cars—a skill he took great pride in—along with a love for gambling and enjoying the thrill of sports.

He was well-loved and, in turn, loved deeply. His capacity for friendship was extraordinary; he surrounded himself with a close-knit group of devoted friends including Kevin Perry, Quinn Hamilton, Kareem Leatherwood, Olando Stewart, Kendrick Perry, and Marcellus Hall. Andrea's laughter and spirit will be irreplaceable to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Andrea is survived by his loving mother, Velda Faye (Johnny) Cage, and his father, Troy Stockard. devoted uncles, Chris (CoCoa) Crockett, Samuel (Dorothy) Hambrick Jr., Antwain (LaVonda) League, Danny Ray (Tameka) Hathaway, devoted aunts, Samila Hambrick and Sameka Crocket, aunts, Valerie Hambrick, Venessa (Willis) Appleton, Christy (Orlando) Keed, Donna (Charles) Westmoreland, Wanda Faye Robertson, Yolanda Hambrick, Yoquanya Hambrick, Vickie Hambrick, Jamila (James) Simmons, Shakiesha Thompson, Sakara Gore, along with . His devoted cousins, Danisha Sims, Vaughn Nelson, Vanessa Booker, Lakeisha Kimbrough, and Odell Kimbrough, will forever hold onto the fond memories they shared with him.

His love story continued with his devoted girlfriend, Mykhia Perry, and they eagerly anticipated welcoming their new bundle of joy, a daughter named Andre'a LaShay Kimbrough, arriving this coming October. Though they will not physically share this moment, his spirit will undoubtedly be there to guide and watch over them.

Andrea was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Kimbrough, grandfather, Samuel Hambrick, and several aunts and uncles who left an indelible mark on his life: Yvonda (Ladybug) Hambrick, Angela Kimbrough, Michelle Nelson, Darrell Nelson, and Donnell Nelson. The void they leave behind is felt deeply.

In the hearts of those he left behind, Andrea's legacy of kindness, laughter, and an unwavering bond of love will live on. His memory, a reminder of how fragile life can be, brings both sorrow and celebration of a life beautifully lived. As family and friends come together to remember the amazing person that was Andrea, they know that, though he is gone from this earth, his spirit will shine brightly on the other side, in the care of God.

A viewing will be held at Terrell Broady Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3855 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN, on July 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Following that, friends and family are invited to a visitation on July 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service, which will commence at 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM. Andrea’s light will surely be felt in these gatherings, as those who loved him come together to honor his beautiful spirit.
