Ms. Ann Uneqa Rankin Darden was born May 1, 1974, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, Ronnie Reid and Linda Stone. God plucked this beautiful flower on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ann professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was united with Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools.
Ann was employed by Vanderbilt Medical Center for over 17 years until her health began to fail. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, singing, getting her hair done and snacking on chips. Ann Cherished her family and friends but most of all she adored her children.
Ann was preceded in death by her grandmother, Amanda Darden, grandfather, Troy Rankin, uncles, Willie, Lewis and William, loving and devoted friend, Nicole Paterson.
She leaves to celebrate her life and memories her mother, Linda Stone, father, Ronnie Reed, sons, La’Darius Harney, La’Donte Darden, and La’Davion Darden, granddaughters, Naomi and Harmonii Darden, grandson, Jamir Darden, sisters, Linda (Johnton Collins) Darden, Willia Stone, LaToya Morris, brothers, Big Mike, Edward Stone, Curtis (Kendra Simmons) Morris, aunts, Margaret, Francis and Helen, uncle, Walter Darden, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, devoted cousin, Shay (Poncho) Malone, Tonia (Dennis) Ward and devoted friends, Darla Henley and kids, Mrs. Magnolia & Catherine Newsome.
