Anna Mai Pitt Jackson, aged 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Atlanta, GA. She was born on September 23, 1927, in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, and was a Nashville resident for the majority of her life. Anna was a beloved elementary school teacher, an alumna of Tennessee State University, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is survived by her sister (Edith Stamps-Miller), grandchildren (Kwajelyn and Skyler Jackson), and several cherished nieces and nephews.
