Arminnie Elizabeth Shaw

Arminnie Elizabeth Collins Shaw was born September 30, 1945, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Milton Hale, Sr. and Mary Odessa Walker Collins. Arminnie answered her call and went to take her seat in glory on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee.

 She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united with Swift Tabernacle Baptist Church. Arminnie was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools.

Arminnie was married to Winston Shaw Sr. for 42 years. She was employed by On Time Fashion for over 25 years and Glad Rags for over 10 years. She worked as a Makeup Consultant for Harvey's Department store where she obtained her passion for makeup. Arminnie loved her makeup and jewelry. She was always dressed to impress for any occasion. 

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, serving on the Mother’s Board at church, dancing, and playing card games. Arminnine will truly be missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Winston Shaw, Sr., and children, Antonio E. (Vanessa) Cox, James E. (Debra) Cox Jr., Cassandra (Frank) Adams, Sabrina Mackie, Peter (Stephanie) Wiggins, Winston ( Annie Margaret) Shaw Jr, Joyce (C'Archie) Robertson, Cory Shaw. Siblings: Patricia Ann Massey, Jacqueline (Rick) Denning. Brother-in-laws: Freddie (Alfreda) Simmons Jr., Charles (Debra) Simmons, Jr. Sister-in-laws: Elizabeth Mitchell and Delores (Ronald) Thigpen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Devoted friend Ludie Redmon.
