Arnie was such a great friend and coworker. We started working together in 1983 when he joined us at Collins and Aikman Bath Fashions. We immediately became fast friends when we found out how much we loved talking baseball and politics. We had a nice way of instead of arguing about each other\'s point of view, we tried to find things that we agreed on. It worked with political stuff but not with baseball.
Arnie would tell people that we were brothers from a different mother.
He was always there for everyone. He was everyone\'s big brother. He was a very devoted to his family and friends. I will greatly miss him.
Rest in Peace Brother. I loved him dearly. Roy McLaurin.

I met Arnie through my late father and while I didn’t know him long, I found him to be such a kind and caring man. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him as they grieve.

I was so very privileged to have Arnie in my life. God bless him and his family. xo
“Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way you always used, laugh as we always laughed, at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me. Let my name be the household word it always was. Let it be spoken without effort. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was;there is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before, only better, infinitely happier and forever. We will all be together in Christ.”
