Audrey Bell

December 2, 1949 — May 1, 2026

Mrs. Audrey Jean Bell was born December 2, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Ollie Wiggins and Margaret Harding Wiggins. She departed this life May 1, 2026 surrounded by the love of family and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.

She was educated in the Nashville school system and later dedicated much of her life to serving others through the healthcare industry. She worked faithfully as a technician at Clover Bottom, Baptist Hospital, and in private home care. Her compassion, patience, and nurturing spirit made her a blessing to countless families and patients throughout the years. She was united in marriage to the late Robert C. Bell.

She had a deep love for cooking and baking and found joy in preparing meals for those she loved. Her home was often filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her favorite dishes. She started her spiritual journey at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor James Mitchell. Later she joined New Life Baptist under Pastor Mark Brandenburg where she worshiped faithfully and cherished her church family.

Above all, the greatest joy and love of her life was her family. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving children: John Holt, LaShonda Holt, Chris Holt, and adopted daughter late Ebony Scales.

She also leaves behind her devoted granddaughters: Taylor Allen and McKenzie Allen. Granddaughter Dominique Allen, and grandsons Sean Blair Allen, Christopher Holt, and Jaylan Holt. Great grandsons: Kadmiel and Immanuel Petit-Frier.

She is survived by her loving sister, Rotonda Glenn (Michael Glenn); brothers late Ollie Wiggins, Jr. (Pauline Wiggins), late Ricky Wiggins, Gary Wiggins, William Jordan, and Mark Jordan; aunt Christine Scales; devoted friend John W. Holt, Sr.; devoted nephews William Warfield and Clarence Warfield; nephews Michael Glenn Jr., Brandon Glenn, Gerald Wiggins, and Mario Wiggins; nieces Latrievia Glenn and late Shelia Wiggins; devoted cousins Jeffrey Harding (Deborah Harding) and Linda Harding; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Her love, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of care, faith, and love will continue for generations to come.
