SMITH, Barbara Jean Age 70 of Nashville. Passed quietly on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, John W. Smith; parents, James Alford, Thelma W. Alford Matthews; step-father, William Matthews. Survived by children, John Hyde III, Valerie Hyde (Johnny) Mabon, William Hyde, San Francisco CA; siblings, Raymond Alford, and Brenda Matthews (Charles) Brooks; grandchildren, Taylor and Kelley Mabon; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, friends, and neighbors. Viewing on Monday, July 23, 2012, Noon - 7 p.m. (family present 5 - 7 p.m.) at funeral home. Visitation Tuesday, July 24th, at 11 a.m., funeral to follow (Noon) at Grace Apostolic Church, Inc., 1100 Lischey Ave, Nashville, TN. Elder Michael L. Boyd, Eulogist.
