Beatrice Hobson

Beatrice Johnson Hobson was born on January 20, 1937 in Franklin, Tennessee to the union of Overlean and Richard Johnson. She entered into rest on Monday, January 31 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Beatrice accepted Christ and was a faithful member of Clifton Avenue U.P.B Church. She received her formal education in the Franklin County Schools. She enjoyed gardening and watching sports.

Beatrice was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas Henry Hobson on February 1, 1958, they enjoyed 64 years of marriage. She was a wonderful wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Beatrice was preceded in death by her son Thomas Bernard, and daughter Latrice Hobson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 64 years Thomas H. Hobson, sons Calvin (Tonya), Darryl, daughters Cecilia (Kenneth) Mitchell, Margaret, and Sandra (Stephen) Wright, grandsons Tyrell, Lorenzo, Corey, Lamont, Landon, Triston, and Calvin Jr., adopted grandsons Taylor, Royal, granddaughters Ashley, Courtney, Shaneka, Noelle, Nicole, Shaketa, 11 great grandchildren, godsons Calvin and Kelvin Scott, Godmother Annie North, siblings Robert, David, Jesse (Sue), and Charles Johnson, Mary, Kathleen, Evelyn, Regina, devoted niece Noradean Johnson, devoted friend David Westmoreland, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends. Viewing Friday, February 4, 2022, 1-4pm at funeral home. Graveside Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hills of Calvary Cemetery.
