Mrs. Benella Evans Banks was born January 6, 1968, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents Thomas Armstrong and Betty Ruth Evans. This fruitful life came to an end on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage after an extended illness.
“Tina” as she was affectionally called by her family and friends was a graduate of White Creek High School where she was a standout on the cheerleading squad as well as a Half timer. She was also voted Best Dressed.
In 1996 Tina married the love of her life James Banks. This union has lasted for almost 30 years.
Tina was employed by Mapco and as a manager for over 10 years. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed crafts, planning and hosting parties. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Armstrong and Betty Ruth Evans.
Those left to celebrate her life and cherish her memories are her loving and devoted husband, James Banks, children, Brandon Clarks, Jennifer Evans, Paige Evans grandchildren, Nevaeh Williams, Xavier Evans, Zari Clark, Antonio Griffin, Jr., Brielle Clark, and Bavarian Bryant, siblings, Tracy Evans, Micheal Evans, Charlie Evans, Christopher Evans, Kenneth Evans, Yolanda Evans, Jennifer Greer, step-father, Shaggy Greer, and a host of other relatives and friends.
