Bernice C. Franklin Jr., affectionately known as "BC" or "JB/JR," was born on July 17, 1992, in Nashville, Tennessee (Davidson County), to Bernice C. Franklin Sr. and Lelia Franklin. He departed this life on March 7, 2026, at the age of 33.
BC was educated in the Metro Nashville Public Schools system and graduated from John Overton High School. He further pursued his passion for automobiles at Nashville Auto Diesel.
A devoted family man, BC poured his love and time into raising and caring for his son. He had a genuine passion for cars—fixing up his rides, hitting the road, and traveling to make lasting memories with his family and friends. As a member of the Highrollers Car Club, he enjoyed hanging out with fellow enthusiasts and sharing his love for automotive culture.
BC was preceded in death by his father, Bernice C. Franklin Sr., and his brother, Jonathan Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memory: beloved mother, Lelia Franklin, his son, Bernice C. Franklin III, his stepson, Julian Aguilar, his brothers, Antonio (LeShawn) Franklin and Erskine "Skeet" Roberts, his sister, Keva Menifee, his significant other, Brenda Andrade (and devoted friends including Taylor Kennedy, Nathaniel Mitchell, Sheba Lusk, Yahir Andrade, Alex Long, nieces: Antonese, Ameera, Jailyn, Jazlyn Roberts, E'Keyosha Harvey, nephews: Akhil and Antonio Jr. Roberts, great-nieces: Keyma Crockett, Kaori Harvey, Brailynn Roberts, great-aunt: Helen Word, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and devoted friends.
BC was known for his loyalty, genuine smile, and fierce love for those around him. He lived fully, brought joy to everyone he met, and will be deeply remembered for the way he loved.
