Bessie Louise King

Bessie Louise King was born July 15, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee to John King and Louise Covington and departed this life August 1, 2021.

Bessie accepted Christ as a young child at the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. In her adult life she joined Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Bessie graduated from Pearl High School where she was avid basketball player.
She worked for the State of Tennessee for over 30 years retiring from the school for the blind in 2008.
Bessie enjoyed shopping, playing Sudoku and kept a meticulous yard.
Bessie leaves to cherish her memory loving brother Reverend Robert L. Coleman; devoted niece Lisa (Gary) Taylor; great niece Alisha Breckenridge and a host of cousins. Viewing Friday, August 6, 2021, 12-6 at funeral home. Visitation Saturday, 10-11 with funeral to follow at Tabernacle M.B. Church. 6801 Charlotte Ave.
