Billy Lorenzo Drennon, Sr. was born May 1, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Charles and Barbara Jean Teasley Drennon. This peaceful and productive life came to an end on Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Billy was a very private man. He loved to cook and grill for his family. He had a love for music. Some of his favorite artists were, Michael Jackson and Prince.

Billy was a born mechanic. He had a gift; he could tell you anything you needed to know about cars. He had a passion for detailing vehicles and making them look brand new.

Billy guided his family with the truth. He would tell you straight forward because that was the kind of person he was.

Billy was preceded in death by bother parents, Barbara and Charles Drennon, Sr. and grandmother, Minnie L. Drennon.

He will be missed and forever loved by his devoted family, his loving and devoted wife, Carolene “BaBa” Drennon, children, Billy Lorenzo Drennon, Jr., Charlene “Paige” Drennon, and Brian Lorenz Drennon, 3 grandchildren, Bruce C. Drennon, Elijah P. Drennon, Ariel S. Bugg, 3 siblings, Edwenita M. Hardin, Barbara M. James, and loving and devoted brother, Charles E.(Stacey) Drennon, Jr. a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
