Brian Dean Scarsbrook

Brian Dean Scarsbrook entered this world on March 15, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He
transitioned from this early life to eternal reward on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Vanderbilt
University Medical Center following an extended illness. He graduated from John Marshall
High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and
united with South Calvary Baptist Church, Indianapolis, Indiana. He recently relocated from
Louisville, Kentucky to be near his mother.
Brian was employed with several trucking companies for numerous years. His favorite pastimes
included football, basketball, dancing, cooking, and entertaining his family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a son and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted mother, Maxine Gilmore; brothers,
Dwayne (Delores) Wyatt and Roderick Dycus; a host of other relatives and friends.
