Carl Alford Knox

Carl Alford Knox was born on February 4, 1977, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Shirley J. Knox and Carl Alford Endsley. Carl peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Carl was a devoted and loving father who took great pride in his children and family. He will be remembered for his love, his presence, and the bond he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved children: his oldest daughter, Karlecia; daughter, Carleigha; and sons Carl Alford Knox III (affectionately known as Lil Carl or C3) and Xayvion. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren: Xavier, Kailani, and Kason. 

Carl is survived by his father, Carl Alford Endsley; his grandmother, Maizell Endsley; his brother, Joshua; his sisters, Shawn; Carla (Larry) Jiaunna, CA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley J. Knox; his sister, Valeria; and his beloved cousin, Edwin. In passing, Carl is reunited once again in his mother’s loving arms. 

Carl’s legacy of love, fatherhood, and family devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him
