Charlotte Oldham Matlock

Charlotte Oldham Matlock was born January 15, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee. To the union of Charles Williamson and Clydine Tibbs. This sweet life came to an end on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Charlotte was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools. She was married to Edward Matlock on January 14, 1983.

She was employed by Donaldson Hospital and J.W. Adkins Funeral Home.

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, flowers and being with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Williamson and Clydine Tibbs, and husband, Edward Matlock, son, Kerry Oldham, daughter, Shaneetria Oldham, granddaughter, Shanea Oldham, siblings, Renea Oldham, Charlene Oldham, Angela Davis, James Oldham, Keith and Kelvin Oldham.

Those left to celebrate her memories are daughter, Mildred “litbit” Oldham, companion, Johnathan Walker, sisters, Cynthia Oldham and Deborah Steele, brother Marcus Jennings, 9 grandchildren, 19, great-grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews a host of cousins, aunts, friends, devoted friend, Willie Williams, and Beverly Lyons a host of other relatives and friends.
