I just learned about the passing of Sister Gaither and my heart is very heavy. Many years ago, we were both members of Faith United MBC where we worked with the youth of the church. Her biblical knowledge and dedication to Christian service, inspired and motivated me to be better and do more. Well done, good and faithful servant, your light continues to shine.

Cheryl was a very giving and loving person. She went out of her way to help others. She had a beautiful singing voice and a knowledge of scripture that was remarkable. Her service and light at Faith United will truly be missed. Absent from the body present with the Lord.

I extend my deepest condolences to your family. Ms. Cheryl (that's what my family and I called her) will be greatly missed. I will especially miss her out of this world kindness and love towards anyone she met. Her service to our Heavenly Father and our church (Faith United) was top notch. She was always willing to serve others without being asked to do so. Her smile and laugh were infectious. Ms. Cheryl definitely loved Christ, she could recall any scripture in the Bible, her family, movies of all kinds, especially action movies, dining out, and just having fun, I will truly miss her saying, "Hello, my friend" along with a high five and a hug. I could go on and on about how Ms. Cheryl touched my family's life. My friend will truly be missed. I love you, Ms. Cheryl.

It is with a heavy heart that I offer deepest condolences to the Gaither Family. Miss Cheryl was not only a huge part of our church family at Faith United, but she was also a part of our family as well. We loved Miss Cheryl. She exemplifies the words \" friend\" and \"helper\". She planted many seeds in our hearts. She had a way of \"seeing\" what wasn\'t spoken. I will remember her laugh, her beautiful singing voice, her boldness, her encouraging words, her(our)love for movies and eating out, and especially her recall for scripture. I am so grateful to God for her friendship, support, and encouragement she gave me and my family. I know if my family and I miss her, you miss her more. She spoke often of her family; it was evident that she loved you so.
I pray that God comfort you in His peace during this time.
With much love,
Frank & Tina Walker & Family ( Jasmine, Frank Jr, Jordan,Joshua, Jessica, Joyous, & Justina)
