Clarence French

Clarence Edward French was born May 11, 1933, in Erin, Tennessee to the union of Herman French and Mattie Mae Nicholes French. He departed this life peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clarence was educated in the Clarksville Montgomery County Public Schools and was a graduate of Burt High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a Baptist.

Clarence served his country in the Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge.

He married the love of his life Rose, and they enjoyed many years of life, love and laughter.

Clarence was preceded in death by both parents, Herman and Mattie French and his lovely bride Rose French.

He leaves to celebrate his memories his children, Sharon, Margie, Doretha, Prescilla, Vera, Troy and Ashlea a host of grand and great-grandchildren many other relatives and friends.
