Clarence Edward Potter, Jr. (CP) was born November 26, 1973 to Clarence Edward Potter, Sr. and Ella Catherine Potter in Nashville, TN. This extraordinary man passed away September 5, 2025, leaving behind family and friends that loved him dearly.
Clarence Edward Jr., (CP) was preceded in death by his grandparents, Early & Gladys Potter; Wilson & Florine Anderson; Aunt & Uncle Bobby & Clara Niece; Uncles; Albert Wayne Potter, Lonnie Anderson, Sonnie Anderson; and Great-Nephew; Terrell Banks.
Clarence Jr., (CP) departed this life Friday, September 5, 2025 leaving those that loved him broken hearted.
Clarence Jr., (CP) accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior June 6, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Clarence Jr., (CP) was educated in the Nashville Metropolitan Public School System where he graduated from Stratford High School in 1992. He was gainfully employed by Home Depot and the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation as well as Carlex.
Clarence Jr., (CP) loved his family. You could always count on being loved on by him. That smile he gave and always a loving hug, coupled with that sense of humor. He loved traveling with his family, also going out to eat with his brother and sister. Clarence Jr. loved playing spades and dominoes. However, he was especially skilled in the colorful language of Cussin! One of the greatest loves of his life was Coaching young girls in basketball. He coached tirelessly even while facing health challenges. He was devoted to these young girls.
