Connie Ervin Brown, Jr. "Chick"

Mr. Connie Ervin Brown, Jr. was born June 11, 1951, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Bessie Lee Jackson and Connie Simmons. He departed this fruitful life on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Connie accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a 1969 graduate of Pearl High School. He continued his education by attending and graduating from Nashville Tech. and attending TSU.

He enlisted in the United States Armed Forces branch of the Army from 1971 – 1973 and received an honorable discharge.

He retired from the VA Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Connie enjoyed sports and was a collector of Curio, he enjoyed spending time and talking with his many friends. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Jackson and Connie Simmons.

He leaves to cherish his memories; Norma Jean Brown, Eugene Brown, Albert Brown, Jr., Leroy (Louise) Brown, Melvin (Michelle) Brown, Audrey Elaine Brown, a host of other relatives and friends.
