David M Caruthers Jr went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born May 1, 1974, to the union of David M. Caruthers, Sr. and Victoria Caruthers in Nashville, Tennessee.
He Gave his life to Christ at an early age at Rose of Sharon Primitive Baptist Church.
He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County School System
In David’s early stages of life, he was a painter, a chef for several restaurants’, he eventually gained employment with United Parcel Service where he worked for over 20 plus years.
David affectionally known by his mom as “Da-Da” enjoyed cooking , old cars, going to different sporting events and spending time with family and friends. David was blessed to have family, adoptive family, and friends in his life that loved him tremendously. He held all relationships whether friends or family close to his heart. David was also affectionally known as “Supa”, and “Dave”. David always had a kind, encouraging word, compliment, something to eat to share, a piece of candy and napkin to share with all he encountered in his journey.
David was preceded in death by his father David M Caruthers Sr.

Aunt Ruby Carol Fields; Uncles Calvin Caruthers Jr and Donald Caruthers; Beloved friends Kathy Green, Vicky Cherry, Mike Perkins, Shawanna Chatman,3619, and South Side Friends as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
