David Dewayne Church, Jr.

Mr. David Dewayne Church, Jr. was born January 15, 1985 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of LaKay Yvette Ready and Dvid DeWayne Church, Sr. This life came to an end suddenly on Saturday, November 15, 2025 in Clay County, Kentucky.

David accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Tennessee Preparatory School.

David enjoyed Basketball, football, drawing and helping others. He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, David DeWayne Church Sr.,

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Dakiyah Childress, David Childress, David Buford, sister, Tamika Polk, brothers, Robert Polk, Linell Church, grandchildren, A’Kari Williams, Paisley Carter, nephew, Amaris Pitts, Messiah Pitts, LaRobert Carpenter, Michael Roy, nieces, Aniyah Carpenter, Kelby Crump, aunt, Carol Grant, cousins, Tweety (Veronica) Grant, Natasha Grant, Matthew Knight, Elizabeth Knight, Anthony Grant, Emile Grant, Maya Grant, Cedric Grant and a host of family and friends.
