Deaundra "Ernie" Lovell

Deaundra “Ernie” Lovell was born December 9, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Wallace Lovell and Rosa Bell Sprinkle Lovell. This productive life came to an end Tragically on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Ernie as he was lovingly called by his friends and family, was educated in Metropolitan Nashville Schools, graduating from Hume Fogg High School and continued his education by attending Nashville, Tech receiving an associate’s degree.

Ernie accepted Christ in his life at an early age at Jackson Street Baptist Church. He later united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Ernie married the love of his life Trudy Boyd, and this love has spanned for over 47 years.

Ernie was employed by Wasco Construction Company as a welder. He was blessed to retire.

When Ernie wasn’t working, he enjoyed Collecting antiques and valuables. Cars, watching tv, music which he played several instruments, but most importantly spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Rosa Bell Lovell, siblings, Margret (Willie, Crutcher, Sandra Pullens, Jennifer Lovell, Wallace Lovell, Bradley (Rosa) Lovell and Clifford Lovell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife, Trudy Lovell, Children, Deaundre (Dwan), Erica, Tiffany, Shareka (Rod) and Tamika (Drices), 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Barry Lovell and Gwen Biles, sisters-in-law, Colett and Denise Lovell, brother-in-law,, Dewitt Pullens a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
