Deborah Jean Lacy was born July 12, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Allen Lacy, Jr. and Dorothea Hunt Lacy. She departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Deborah was a follower of Christ and made her call and election sure at an early age. She was united with the First Baptist South Inglewood Baptist Church in 2005. Deborah was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a 1982 graduate of Maplewood High School.
She was employed by Prince Foods Inc for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, cooking, Facebook and spending time with family and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Allen R. Lacy, Jr., mother, Dorothea F. Lacy, sister, Brender “Darlene” Lacy and brother, Allen R. Lacy, III.
Those left to cherish her memories and celebrate her life are her children, Tymarrea Lacy, Shantel Lacy, Jasmine Smith, Dominique Lacy-Armstrong, Diamond Armstrong, and Crystal Holder, sisters, Cheryl (Tony) Woods, Karen Lacy, Angela (Michael) Esaw, brother, Calvin (Rosalyn) Lacy, grandchildren, Makiya, Sha’miyah, Montereon, Santana, Ariah, Jaliah, Kailee and Sineca, aunt, Glenda Cotton, uncles, Alvin (Berthaleen) Lacy, George Cotton, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, extended children, Lannie Smith, Jr., Tiara Demings and Quinton Chandler.
