Dhyan Latrell Spence

Mr. Dhyan Latrell Spence was born November 13, 1970, in Las Angeles, Ca. to the union of Carl Otis McLaughlin and Connella Olivia Spence. He departed this peaceful life on Monday, June 24, 2024, at his residence in Seamon, Ohio.

 Dhyan was baptized in the Church of Christ and was a member of The Church of Christ at Lawrence Ave. He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools attending Hillsboro High School. He worked in Landscaping, KFC, Cintex and Construction.

 Before he became sick he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, machinery, and being outdoors in nature. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

 Dhyan enlisted in the United States Armed Forces branch of the Navy as Air launched weapons Technician and Strike Intermediate Armament Maintenance . He received several accommodations. While in the Navy Dhyan became ill and he received 100% disability and an honorable discharge.

 Dhyan was preceded in death by his father, Carl Otis McLaughlin; grandmother, Helen L. Spence; Grandfather, John C. Spence, uncle, Patrick L. Spence.

 Those left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted mother, Connella O. Spence, uncle, Calvin (Darlene) Spence; Antioch, Tn. aunts, Patricia Keeling, Hendersonville, Tn., and Helen Savitrea (Donald) Jones Murfreesboro, Tn., devoted friends, Lloyd and Carol Baker, Seaman, Ohio, & fur baby, Bubbles; cousins, Kavita (Steve), DeAndrea (Dale), Michelle, Tracy, Khoury, RaNisha Spence, Shannon, Sevetra; and a host of numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
