Dorothy Mae White

Dorothy Mae White departed this world on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at AHC Cumberland Manor.  She was the bouncing bundle of joy to the late Ollie and Josie Clift in Huntsville, Alabama.

Dorothy united with Little Flock Primitive Baptist in Brownsboro, Alabama at an early age.  She was educated in Public School System in Madison County, Alabama and later received her diploma in an adult school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dorothy was united in holy matrimony to Wyonnie Kelley, to this union God graced three children: Shirley, Wyonnie, Jr., and Ronnie Kelley.  She was employed at Woodcock Baptist Church on South 6^th Street in Nashville, Tennessee, but her passion was serving as a loving housewife.  She loved to dance, one of her favorite spots was Bill Kelly.  Her favorite shopping place was GW Boutique “the Goodwill”, and watching wrestling with Joe Yama Moto and Lynn Rossi.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories two brothers, Leroy and Billy Ray Clift; three children, Shirley Steward, Wyonnie (Sharon), Ronnie (Sheila) Kelley; eight grandchildren, Tamyka Kelley, Kenshirl Johnson, Wyonnisha Ridley, Eric Harrison, Amelia Johnson, Markeshia Frame, Ronnie Kelley, Jr., Shamari Moore; eight great grandchildren; special friends, Ella King, Dixie Crawford, Paul and Dean Langhford; and a host of other relatives and friends.
