On February 17, 2026, our father called upon Dwight E. Johnson to join him in eternal life. He was born on April 4, 1952, to the late Lillian Johnson and George Hambrick in Nashville, Tennessee. He will always be remembered for how he loved everyone.
Dwight spent much of his working life in the restaurant industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help wherever he was needed. Outside of work, Dwight’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He enjoyed simply being together—sharing meals, conversations, and everyday moments that meant the most to him.
Dwight will be remembered for his dedication, his quiet strength, and the love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
Dwight will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. He is preceded in death by his sister, Gail Johnson; nieces, Lakenya and Terriana Johnson; and nephews, Mi’Twan and Ja’Montez Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters, Gwendolyn (Johnson) Beasley, Doris Johnson; brothers, Robert (Zack), George (Marrian) Johnson, Michael Hambrick; nieces and nephews, Anita, Ronald, Angela, Starlene, Crystal, LaQuita, Betty; The Rose Family, Bostic and Frazier Family; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family relatives and friends.
