Edna Woodard was born on June 6,1933 to the union of William Henry Terry II. and Beulena Gardner. She entered into rest on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Edna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and she united with First Baptist Church. She later became a faithful member of Bridge Hill Baptist Church, where she served on the mother’s and Usher Boards.
Edna was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life, Charles Martin Woodard in 1955, three children were born to this union.
Edna enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafting, and most of all her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin Woodard, parents, Beulena Gardner, William Henry Terry II., son, Curtis Woodard, sisters, Hattie Conrad, Mary Belcher, brothers, George Thomas Belcher, Nathan L. Belcher, 8 uncles, and 6 aunts.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving family, son, Terry Martin Woodard (Carolyn), daughter, Deborah F. Woodard, granddaughter, Tiffany Woodard (Dantonio), great grandson, Malakyi Woodard, great granddaughter, Nevia Owens AKA “Miss Molly”, brothers, Glen (Gertrude) Belcher, William H. Terry III., Greogory (Marreor) Terry, Randall (Cynthia) Terry, sisters, Jennie B. Young, Delia Belcher, aunts, Nora L. Smith, Balanche Terry, Denise Terry, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, very devoted friend, Ms. Queen Couts, and many more friends.
