Edward Earl Hereford, Jr.

Mr. Edward Earl Hereford, Jr., affectionately known as “Crumb” by his family and friends, was born March 14, 1960, and departed this life to be at rest on November 24, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Earl Hereford, Sr. and Patricia A. Hereford; Grandmothers, Ruth Bryant and Olivia Brown, devoted uncle James Brown (Bubba) and other loved ones.

 He attended the public school system of Nashville, TN and later joined the United States Military which he proudly served and was honorably discharged. Edward professed a love, hope, and belief in Jesus Christ at Noah’s Ark UPB Church and was baptized along with his son Dyshon on August 7, 2012, by Elder Percy A. Davis. 

Crumb was a “Jack of all Trades”, building and remodeling homes was his passion, he could tear up anything and put it back together again! 

Crumb married the love of his life Denise Shelton on June 21, 2008. They shared a love together that was a strong and beautiful union. Crumb valued and cherished his family. He loved his children with all of his heart. 

He was formerly employed by the US Postal Service and was an Independent contractor for many years until his health failed. He loved fishing, golfing, listening to old school music, going to the Casino and telling jokes! 

He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving and dedicated wife Denise L. Hereford, daughter, Sha’Neece Hereford and son Dyshon Reed; sisters Ontra (James) Brooks and Keturah (Jason) Hereford; uncle Harold Bryant; father in law Deacon Bobby L. (Minnie) Alsup, Sr. and mother in law Sharrion Shelton, sisters in law, Karen (Larnell ) Polk; Shatika (Mark) Walker, Andrea (Timothy) Batts; and Pamela Alsup, Bastrop, Tx., brothers-in-law, Bobby (Tasha) Alsup, Jr., Pflugerville, Tx., Brandon (Feneshia) Alsup, Montgomery, Ala. and devoted cousin Andrew Hereford; and a host of devoted cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
