Mr. Emanuel Bigham, Jr. was born July 14, 1940, in McLemoresville, Tennessee to the union of Manuel Bigham, Sr., and Fay Bell Bigham. This productive life came to an end on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Emanuel was educated in the Carroll County Schools. After high school he enlisted in the United States Armed Forces branch of the Air Force. He served his country proudly and received an honorable discharge. After his tour with the military, he was employed by the U S Postal Service as a clerk.
Emanuel accepted Christ in his life and was united with the Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Fay Bigham, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Those left to celebrate his memories are his loving and devoted wife Jewell Bigham; his children, Christopher (Linda) Bigham, Tonya (Matthew) Taylor, Reggie (Jewell) Mason, and Toi (Thomas) Batson; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Flem Otey (Eloise) Hughes, Charles Hughes; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hughes Murdic, Alice Hughes (James) Harlan, Justine Bigham, Betty Albritton; devoted nephew Tony Bigham and devoted niece, Monica Baugh; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of Standing Floral Sprays or Pedestal Floral arrangements, the family asked for potted plants or that monetary donations be given to Second Harvest Food Bank The Martin Distribution Center 331 Great Circle Road Nashville, Tn. 37228 or by calling 615-329-3491.
