Emma Louise Thomas "LuLu" was born November 23, 1957 in Pulaski, Tennessee to the union of Willie Rice and Beatrice Thomas. She departed this peaceful life on Monday, March 21, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Emma accepted Christ in her life at and early age and was united with Immanual Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County School System.

Emma was employed wit Tennessee State University as an Enviromental Services Supervisor with Service Solutions.

In her spare time she enjoyed barbecuing, gardening, cleaning and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Emma was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice and stepfather Willie Rice, brothers, Robert McCord, Jr., James McCord and Clyde McCord and nephew Michael Lance McCord.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Shontell Jordan, and Holly Thomas, grandchildren, Jay W. Jordan, Shon D. Jordan, Phiniya Thomas, and Lauryn Brooks, sisters, Deborah McCord, Wanda Faye Woodson and Linda (Don) Henry, sister-in-Love, Edith McCord, brothers, Alvin (Rhonda) McCord, Walter McCord, and Charles Armstrong a host of nieces, nephews and relatives whom she loved dearly, devoted friends, Elaine Jackson, Sweetie Pie, Caprice and Louis Brooks. Viewing Friday April 1, 2022, 2-6. Visitation Saturday, April 2, 2022, 12-1:00 with funeral to follow at fh.
