Fisher Albert Shelton, Jr

Fisher Albert Shelton Jr. was born on October 28, 1964, to the late Fisher Albert Shelton Sr. and Olivia Webb Shelton.

On Monday May 18, 2026, God called him home. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in Nashville and received his high school diploma from Maplewood HS. Fisher worked at Vanderbilt University until his health started to decline.

He was united in holy matrimony to Yvette Shelton. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, cousin, and uncle who loved his family deeply. Fisher was known for being kind, quiet, gentle, and giving. He truly enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and cherished those moments dearly.

Cherishing his memory and celebrating his life are his loving wife Yvette, his son Daniel, his sisters Barbara Jean Jackson and Sarater Ann McGavock; sisters-in-laws, brother-in laws, along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
