Flora May Webster-Johnson

Flora May Webster was born in Nashville TN, May 9, 1941 to the late Viola Webster and Fulton Hughes. She was the only child of Viola Webster. Flora departed this life on June 06, 2025.

As a young woman she had 8 children early in her life and began to be a mother and housewife. Determined to care for her children, she brought her first home in 1970 where she still lived till her death.

Flora spent her whole life dedicated to taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was firm and direct about everything. Caring for the ones she loved gave her certainty in her life.

She gave the majority of her life to caring for her down syndrome daughter. Flora also was the neighborhood candy lady for years and if you needed anything you got it from her.

Flora is preceded in death with the beloved Horace Browder Sr. and the late Jessie Johnson, children: William “Chine” & George ”Donnie” Webster, Darlene & Kelly ”Tinka” Johnson, granddaughter: Sherita “Shon” Browder, Parents, aunts: Shirley, Helen, and Catherine Webster. uncles: Charles ”Elmo” & Thomas Webster.

She leaves to cherish her 4 children: Horace Browder Jr. Sandra, Vanessa& Winifred Webster grandchildren: Michael, Teresa, Angela, LaTonya, Lavenia, Donald, LaDonna, Cheteka, Tiffany(Lance),Freddy Corey(Jasmine),Cedrick, Todd, Stacey, Brandon, Lavosier, Donnell and 65 great grandchildren, devoted cousins: Earlan, Kenneth(Lisa),Kimberly, Kristopher and a host of other relatives and friends.
