JONES, Floyd J. Age 85 of Nashville. April 23, 2012. A graduate of Tennessee State University receiving his B.S. and Master's Degrees. He retired with over 30 years with Metro Schools. He was a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood & Annie Harwell Jones, & brother, Richard Jones, Sr. He is survived by loving and devoted wife of over 60 years, Louise Curtis Jones; nieces, Beverly Jones (David) Collier, Barnett Jones (Ron) Crutcher, Martrice Jones Harney, Wanda McNeal, Jennifer Curtis, Melanie Seymore (Dan) Mowery & Kimberly Seymore; eight nephews, Richard C. (Ethel) Jones, Jr., Robert Floyd Jones, Ronald Martez (Holly) Jones, Gerald Wayne (Diane) Jones, Vernon McNeal, Keith McNeal, Leo (Tangi) Curtis, Jr. & Christopher Curtis; three sisters-in-law, Inez Jones, Mattie (Vernon) McNeal, Lillian Seymore; brother-in-law, Dr. Charles D. Curtis; special cousins, Patricia G. Clark and Henrietta Giles; several devoted great-nieces, great-nephews, other devoted cousins and friends.
