Galaxy Weaver

Galaxy Starlonnie Weaver was born on September 1, 1981, to the union of Donna Caruthers and Lonnie Greenlee in Nashville, Tennessee.

Galaxy was educated in the Metro Nashville Public Schools system where he graduated from Hunter Lane High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Roger Heights Baptist Church.

Galaxy was employed for many years but recently at the Galaxy Star Building Group. He had a love of sports and especially loved spending time with family and friends as he was known to be a big jokester. He was preceded in death by his sister, LaQondia Weaver; brother, Cleopas “Cleo” Weaver; grandparents, George Weaver, Charlotte Peters, Mary Greenlee Pointer; dad, Bobby “Poochie” Douglas.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Donna Weaver-Caruthers; father, Lonnie Greelee; grandmother, Johnetta Roper; grandfather, Jimmy Smith; loving children, Galashay Weaver, Galanecia and Zhamai Wiggins, Galaxy Weaver, Jr., Galaxy Weaver II, Galaxy Weaver III, Galaxie Star Weaver; grandchildren, Demere Greenlee, Ava Weaver, Journi Weaver, Soleia Hodges; siblings, BarQuita “Miss Too” Weaver, Barlitha “Litha” Weaver, Shatika Harvell, Robbie (Pretty)Harvell, Bobby (Bob) Harvell, Dorine Harvell, NaJanara Mckellery, Porsha Douglas, Ariel Douglas, LaJosha Darvin, Lonnie Newsome, Lonnie Parrish, Roman Williamson;  devoted niece, Zariah Weaver; devoted nephews, Ricky Crawley, Torey Robinson, Antonio Robinson; and a host nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; devoted friends, Gabrielle LaClaire, Maurice Lawrence, Kevin Clack, Tony Greenlee, Kevin Boyd, Zadian Hawkins, other relatives and friends.
