Gary Jackson - Bro. Rakin Ramiz Rashad

Gary Lamour Jackson (Bro. Rakin Ramiz Rashad) was born December 30, 1955 in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the parents George Jackson Sr. and Bertha Middlebrooks Jackson. He departed this life peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Bro. Rakin Rashad was of the Muslim Faith. He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools where he graduated from Pearl High School. He furthered his education at Kerrington and received his Nursing Assistant Certification in 1998.

Bro. Rakin married the love of his life Kiwanis McClain in 2001. They have enjoyed over 20 years of bond in matrimony.

Bro. Rakin had been employed by Martinrea Fabco in Springfield since 2015.

In his spare time he enjoyed singing, playing basketball, dancing, boxing and tennis. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
