Survived by devoted wife, Barbara Ann Johnson-Brooks; children, Eric (Dewanda) Brooks, Gregory (Vonyetta) Brooks, Marsha (Darius) Griggs, Ruth (Keith) Bills, Sharonda Brooks; son-in-law, Howard Ferguson; parents, George (Dorothy) Brooks, Sr.; brothers, David (Diane) & Robert (Michelle) Brooks; sister, Jeanette Mastin; 13 grand & 6 great-grandchildren. Viewing Thursday, 1-6 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation Friday, 11 a.m. - 12 Noon, with funeral to follow at Bethesda Original Church of God, 2816 Tucker Rd., Rev. Dwight Ogelton, Eulogist.
