I Georgia Selena Jackson Norris was born June 2, 1941 in Beckwith, Tennessee the sixth child of Gordon and Thelma Jackson. I was educated in the Davidson County School System. I received my Business Education at Tennessee State University. I worked for Ernest Tubb Record Shop Inc. for 39 years and retired. I also loved to paint draw, read poems along with reading my bible.
I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 15 and became a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ. I later became a member of The Temple Church.
I thank God everyday for blessing me with a devoted and loving family. My sisters Ida Jackson, Margaret Cantrell and my sister, niece Sonoma Suggs, nieces, Ida Joyner and Karen Brown. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
I thank God for allowing me to stay here this long. So let my works and deeds speak for itself. Only what I did for Christ counts.
Family I am going to be with the one great love of my life, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
