Gerry Green

Gerry Lynn Green was born on January 15, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee to  the union of Thelma Jean Green and Billy D. Williams. She departed this earthly life on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Gerry received her education in the Metro Nashville Davidson County Public School Systems, graduating from McGavock High School. She was employed with Meharry Medical Center for a number of years and later worked at Vanderbilt University in the Dietary Department.

Gerry loved fashion, dancing, working, cooking, being around family and friends, listening to music, and she was always the life of the party. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!!!

Gerry was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Jean Green, father, Billy D. Williams, brother, Daryl Green, and her sister, Janice Green.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Shanta green, Jerika Green, son, Kenneth Green, sister, Sharon Green, brother, Gary Green, nieces, Shayla, Travonda “Tray”, Latoya Brooks, devoted nephews, Gary “Peanut”, Jamont Majors, grandchildren, Danielle, David, Davonte’, De’Keria, West, Lamar, Crishawn, Keniya, Ikeiya, Kenya, Dallas, Dakota, Anayla, great grandchildren, Wilder, Layla, Xade, Kaidyn, significant other, Broderick Hamelett, devoted cousin, Vicky Jones, devoted friends, Anita, Constance, Charlene, MeMe, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
