James Lamont Patton

James Lamont Patton was born on April 9, 1980, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, Tequita Jones and Jesse Patton. He departed this life on Friday, June 27, 2025, at his residence in Adams, Tennessee.

James was educated in the Metro Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. He was employed by several entities including Holiday Inn, Nashville Wire and was also employed as a driver.

He enjoyed football and gaming.

James was preceded in death by his stepfather, Kim Jerome Patton, maternal grandparents, Jimmy Jones, Sr., Emma Strain, step-grandfather, Melvin Odom, paternal, grandparents, James and Catherine Patton, father, Jesse Patton, aunt, Sharon Patton.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted mother, Tequita Patrick, Fiancée, Trovondia Washington, 3 children, Johntavious Harper, Jayvion Roberts and Jaelyn Patton, brothers, Jesse (Kayle) Patton, Kaleb Patrick, Micheal Patrick and Jimmy Patrick, sisters, Keonya Patrick and Kenesha Patrick, nieces, Desire Patrick, Kaylia Patton and Jessie Patton, uncles, Jimmy (Laura) Jones, Jr., Bryant Blanche, Jimmy Patton, Vincent Patton and Howard Wilson, aunts, Teresa Jones, Lisa (Tery) Reese, Carla and Darla Jones, Consuela Benning and Linda Floyd, great aunt, Willie Sue Groves, special friends, Steven Clark, Arletha Walton and David Moore and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
