Mrs. Jeanette McDaniel Stephens was born January 3rd 1941 in Savannah TN to the parents, Coleman McDaniel, Sr., and Mary Dixon McDaniel. Jeanette attended Dunbar High School in Savannah TN. She would have graduated with the class of 1961.
Jeanette was united in marriage to Franklin Theodore Stephens and to this union three children were born Perry, Sylvia and Joseph Stephens.
Jeanette joined Saint John Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member until her health began to fail.
Jeanette was a woman full of life who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends her favorite pastime was taking pictures cooking making her famous pecan pies and attending yard sales
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman McDaniel, Sr., and Mary Dixon McDaniel, son, Joseph Stephens, sister, Mary M. Cherry, brothers, Coleman McDaniel, Jr., Elige McDaniel and Alonzo McDaniel
Jeanette leaves to cherish her memories her son, Perry Stevens, Savannah TN daughter, Sylvia Stevens McDaniel, Nashville TN., 2 adopted brothers, Deacon Johnny Carson McDaniel Flint MI., and Don Rachel McDaniel of McKenzie Tennessee, 3 granddaughters, Troi Stephens Stackins, Summer Goodlow and Jamie Ann Stevens Morton all of Nashville, Tn. who was the love of her heart, several other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
