Ms. Jina Holden was born October 28, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee to Arthur Holden and Betty Allison. She departed for her heavenly home on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Jina professed Christ in her life at an early age and was a Christian.
Jina attended Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and was a graduate of East High School, Class of 1980, she also attended David Lipscomb College, Nashville, Tennessee. She became an entrepreneur for a brief period of time and joined the Peace Corps.
Jina later found her passion in nursing and was employed with the Nashville VA Hospital as a nurse. She had a profound love for caring for others and their wellbeing which she exemplified in her work ethic.
Jina’s loved cooking, baking, traveling, playing volleyball, and set aside time to give her service to the homeless.
Jina was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Holden.
Those left to cherish her memory devoted son, Demarcus Holden; mother Betty Webb; grandson, Harlem Holden; sisters Nicole Hobbs, Celestia Williams; aunt Dorothy Ann Collins; nieces Ronnika Berry, Londyn Taylor, Nakita Morthel, Sonecia Williams; nephews Antony and Antonio Massey, Carvarious Bowers; couisns Fara Allison, Marc Collins, Michael Benedict, John Michael Benedict, Travis Benedict, Dustin Benedict; other loving family and dear friends.
