Joan Blondell Branch

Ms. Joan Blondell Branch was born December 19, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Finner and Doisha Brown Branch. This sweet life came to an end on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Joan was baptized in a watery grave and was united with Schrader Lane Church of Christ. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public schools and was a graduate of Pearl High School.

Joan was employed for over 45 years by Werthan Bag Company as a sac/ bag stitcher.

When Joan wasn’t working, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, going to church and spending quality time with family and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Finner and Doisha Branch, sisters, Frances Branch Garrison and Sarah Lee Cannon and her nephew, Quince Cannon.

She leaves to celebrate her life and memories her nieces, LaNitra “Nikki” Garrison, Shayla Garrison, Theresa Cannon and Darlene Carruthers Gooch,, nephews, Lambert “Lamb” Cannon and Angelo Carruthers, great nieces, Jayla and Bella Garrison, great nephews, Quince D’Wayne (Shannon) Cannon, Deonvelt Miller, Danarius (Kesa) Fowler and a host of other relatives cousins and friend.
