John Bailey, jr.

BAILEY, JR., John "Frank" Age 71 of Nashville. Born March 27, 1940 in Boonville, Lincoln County, TN to the late John Frank Bailey, Sr. and Angeline (Ford) Bailey. He departed this life October 24, 2011. He served in the United States Navy Reserve, and worked under two Mayor's in Metropolitan Government in the Mayor's Office in Nashville, TN, Mayor Beverly Briley and Mayor Richard Fulton. His last place of employment was with Veterans Administration in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Bailey. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, one daughter, Michelle Harris; mother, Angeline Bailey; devoted sister, Mable (Mbaye) Niasse; devoted brothers, William (Yvonne) Bailey, Harry Bailey, Ronald (Alice) Bailey; grandchildren, David Massey and Calise Hardy; 2 aunts and 1 uncle, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He has special friends in the Oxford Houses, Milton McClain, and others too numerous to name; co-workers and friends at VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. He also had several special friends that remained at his bedside throughout his illness, Eleanor Snyder and Audrey Carey.
