Johnetta Faye Foster

Johnetta Faye Foster was born on June 4, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised by her strong and loving mother, Dorothy E. Foster-Jones. She peacefully entered into rest on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Faye received her education in Nashville and worked for Metro General Hospital for many years. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Faye was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy E. Foster-Jones and Joe Jones; her son, Harold Mills Jones; and her brother, Lynn Anderson.

Faye leaves to cherish her memory of her loving children: Laquita Foster, Richard Jones Jr. (Lea.), and Michael Jones Sr.; grandchildren Danielle (Trelle) Nightingale, Nathaniel (Calvineshia) Beard, Johnetta Beard, Brian Williams, Briana Williams, Lamonte’ (Quaniesha), Antwanae (Darius), Richae, Chelsea Lynch, Gabriella Jones, Mikira Jones, Macaela Jones, Aaliyah P., Michael Jones Jr., and Adreyan Jones; and Alaiya Overbey along with a devoted host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
