Mr. Jonathan “Demetrius” Bone, son of John Bone, Jr. and the late, great Juanita A. Bone was born in Nashville, TN. He was the third of six kids born to this union. He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Gary D. Bone.
Jonathan received his education in the Metro Davidson Public School System and graduated from Hume Fogg High School. Following high school, Jonathan was employed in various fields from Hospitality to Industrial work. He eventually landed at The Tennessean Newspaper and completed several years of service there.
“Metrius”, as he was affectionately known to some and “Bone” to others, loved sports; he was a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan and music enthusiast.
