Jossie Lee Drake Knight

Jossie Lee Drake Knight was born on July 22, 1945 in Huntsville, Alabama to the union of Jossie Kibble and Jodie Leamon Drake. She departed this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jossie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with True Praise Ministries in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her formal education in the Madison County Schools in Huntsville, Alabama.

Jossie was employed for over 20 years as Supervisor of Dietary at Bordeaux Hospital. She also worked at Cumberland Manor and Marriott in Food Service.

Jossie loved gardening, cooking, and singing. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her!

Jossie was preceded in death by her parents Jodie and Jossie Drake, her sisters Louise, Johnnie Mae, Annie Ruth, her brother James Kibble, and her grandson DeShaun Jones.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Children: Stephanie (Bishop Carlos) Jones, Simba (Deana) Drake, Oliver (Samantha) Knight III, Grandchildren: LaShawnda, Kiara, James, Alonza, Jaquai, Keshawn, Kedarius, Donovan, Kayla, Great Grandchild: Rhea Noelle Robinson, a devoted aunt Hazell (Moses) Bone, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
