Joyce Michelle Reed was born October 18, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Mary Joyce Page and James Edward Page. She entered into rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at TriStar Skyline Hospital 3441 Dickerson Pike Nashville, Tennessee.

Michelle accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Later she and her family joined The Temple Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michelle spent her earliest years in Chicago, Illinois graduating from Morgan Park High School. In May 2007, she received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee and taught Math and English within the Metro Nashville Davidson County School System. She also coached the Girl’s Softball Team. In 2016 Michelle and her family started their family-owned business, Slow Burn Hot Chicken in Madison, Tennessee which was featured on The Food Network Channel.

Michelle joined in holy matrimony with Marlon Charles Reed Jr., on March 19, 2004 at Triedstone Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, James Page, her daughter, Jenaya Monet Reed, and her maternal grandparents, Joe and Alma Waits and fraternal grandparents, Myrtle and Jethro Page.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mary Page, her husband, Marlon Reed Jr., daughter Jazmine Michelle Reed, son Xavier James Reed, aunts, Dorothy Smith, Effie Davis, Verna Dowden, Carolyn Waits, Donna Reed, Racheal Harrison, uncles Vince Reed, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
