Junior Mullins

Junior Mullins, affectionately known as “Mullins” was born on March 4, 1949, and passed away on August 27, 2026. He was educated through Metro Nashville Public Schools and graduated from Cameron School .

Junior Mullins was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He believed in doing what needed to be done and took pride in providing through his work and determination. During his working years, he was employed by Mid-State Steel as a crane operator. He later worked at the DoubleTree Hotel as a houseman.

Beyond his work, Junior knew how to enjoy life. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and those who knew him understood how much his team meant to him. He loved listening to jazz, dancing, and spending time with friends at Dudley Park. He especially cherished visiting his family in Dickson, Tennessee, including his god sister, Dell, and his god brother, Darnell.

Junior was generous, loving, and big-hearted. He was a very loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Junior leaves to cherish his precious memory his two daughters, Candace Mullins and Diannie Partee; his beloved grandchildren, Ameera Partee, Ronald Partee, Diamond Partee, LaKeyva Partee, Marcus Mullins, Cortez Howe, and Anthony Randolph; and a host of great-grandchildren, along with other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Ramey, and his son, Carlyle Partee.
